Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu


Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is one of the most popular martial arts in the world. It is extremely effective and ideal for self-defence. It's also great fun to learn. It incorporates a standing game, takedowns and throws, and a very well-developed ground-game. Finishes are by means of joint locks and manipulations, and chokes. Kids Rolling

No-Gi


No-Gi (or Submission Grappling) is a version of Brazilian Jiu-Jistu where students don't wear the traditional kimono. Not being allowed to grip clothing changes the dynamic of combat significantly—it's often faster and a lot more intense. Like BJJ and MMA, it is extremely popular!

Judo


Judo is a traditional Japanese martial art best known for its spectacular throws. The flipside of that is that students also become masters at learning to break their fall on the ground when they are thrown. Judo has always been a good option for people who want to learn to defend themselves without resorting to kicking and striking.

Wrestling


Wrestling is an all-time American favourite and has been practiced in schools for decades. The technqiues and strategies employed by wrestlers are proven and highly effective (so much so that many of them have been "borrowed" by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors looking for an edge!)

If you enjoy the striking and kicking game then these classes might be for you. Training typically involves lots of drilling on pads. You'll also master combos to the point they become automatic responses. These classes deliver a very aerobic workout—perfect for those wanting to improve their fitness quickly!
